This coffee was produced by Robinson Rozo, who comes from a family that has been producing coffee for over 30 years. Robinson works alongside his father, Libardo Roso and is also a specialist in coffee production, having trained at El Sena, one of Colombia’s technical schools. Robinson counts as part of the younger generation of growers that are willing to invest the time and effort into producing a quality coffee and this is certainly well reflected in the cup. El Vergel has 5 hectares of coffee, and an additional 18 hectares of forest reserve.  Within the 5 hectares of coffee, approximately 3.5 are made up of Caturra and Typica, which he uses special for his micro-lots and another 1.5 hectares of V. Colombia
